I've spent some time thinking about Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I've come to the realization that, while both games are enormous in scale, deep in story, and full of action and drama, I'm going to have to say that Fallout: New Vegas feels much more like a true action-RPG than Fallout 3. New Vegas has a deeper storyline with higher replay value; in Fallout 3 you've essentially got the same story path with alternate endings. In New Vegas, you've got alternate story paths each with their own alternate endings within. Every choice you make, every bond you form, affects the outcome of the game.
In Fallout 3, good and evil are rather well-defined. There are good characters that you kill to gain negative karma, and bad characters that you kill for positive karma. However, in the Mojave there is no clear-cut good and evil. You've got three different factions fighting for control of New Vegas and its riches, or you can ignore them and become the dictator yourself. To me, it's more about the choices you make, as almost every quest somehow affects your relationship with different factions and towns.
As for the gameplay in New Vegas, I think it is more balanced than in 3. In Fallout 3, I would have been able to get my character to have 100 in all stats by the time I reached level 30. My character was very rich, and had weapons and armor up the wazoo. Most of the weapons, ammunition and caps were gained by killing random shopkeepers and looting their inventory. As far as I know with New Vegas, that isn't possible. You're even so tempted to kill Mick and Ralph after seeing the special inventory- a room full of ammo and guns- just to steal the inventory. But there's no such ability. You need to earn everything by buying it, looting it off enemies, or randomly finding it.
You can manually aim your weapons down the sights. You can craft your own ammo. You can make your own stimpaks, food, chems. To me, there's just so much about the game that just makes the RPG element shine through a lot more. Perks are more meaningful, because you don't get as many, and they don't directly affect your stats.
New Vegas is a vast improvement over Fallout 3. This had been on my mind for a while, and I realize that New Vegas just flows better. At first I thought 3 was better, but I had a good command over 3, I knew exactly where to go with 3, I knew what I was doing and who to talk to and everything. I guess after the unfamiliarity wore off with the Mojave wasteland, I came more fond of it, and found it more enjoyable than DC.
If you've played Fallout 3 and enjoyed it, get New Vegas. That's all I can say. It is definitely a must-buy.

Stalled...
Well, I was trying to add another page onto this site, an "Inside the Frak" section. However, my computer is being dumb and I'm frustrated, so it is going to have to wait. My HTML coding doesn't seem to want to work. It isn't working the way it is supposed to work, images are not appearing like they should, links are not going where they are supposed to be going.
Just not a good day for me to be working on the HTML, I guess. Anyway, I'll try working on it. I'm unsure why my image coding isn't working... I've got the tags right and I've got the URL correct, because I copied and pasted. I don't know. Not gonna worry too much.
I'll also have some more music up here soon. I think I may separate my music page into two pages. One page for my regular, mainstream music, and another page for my shorter music. I don't know. Maybe that's just too much work.
Also, I forgot my Twitter password. I tried the only possible passwords that it could have been and now it's asking me if I'm human. The internet is not going my way, today...

Update, Yo!
Hello, there! I've not been very active with actually writing blog postings, and I apologize if anybody cares. But to be honest, the real point of this whole thing is to get you to click on the other page. No, not the "Review" section, because I will not be posting there; I tried deleting it, and I cannot edit or view the page through the control panel but nevertheless it still appears when you enter this site. But, no. Click the "Music" page. I've spent much time working on it, and the whole point is to make my music available to you.
Yes, there is an overbearing section in which I explain the rights and usage of the music, but that's just to protect myself. There's going to be at least one person in the world that, for whatever reason, would get the bright idea of stealing somebody else's idea and claiming it as their own. Well, I feel safer knowing that I've posted that in as much of a legal language as I could just in case such a thing did happen, and I could say, "I clearly explained that this work is my own, and I want to get it out there for people to listen to".
With this blog, I could post about politics and religion and all these worldly topics... But that's why you would follow my Twitter account! Yes, just type LordFrakula into the search bar, and boom goes the dynamite. You'll see me up there, in all my glory with my beautiful guitar, Jennifer. I didn't name it after any person in particular; I just liked the name. But as the point I was trying to make, I guess I'll throw in some personal things, and I'll try and cut down on all the swearing andshit such.
Anyway, I would greatly appreciate your support! If you'd like to send some advice, or encouragement or just ask me how my day is going, you can contact me using THIS LINK
Thank you, everybody, and have a nice day!
